Hannah brings over 10 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong track record across permanent, contract, and temporary roles.
She has delivered in sectors including finance, commercial, supply chain, IT, aerospace, and the public sector.
Before joining Barrow Mount, she held senior roles at firms such as This is Alexander Faraday Recruitment, Hyered, and LA International, where she consistently placed senior-level talent, built new client relationships, and led delivery on complex briefs.
Helen Thorne

Helen oversees finance at Barrow Mount and has a long track record in financial management across the publishing and media space as well as financial services.
She also serves as group finance director at Astor Media, where she manages accounts, reporting and compliance across multiple brands.
Her role at Barrow Mount covers both finance and long-term planning.

He is also group operations director at Astor Media, where he supports day-to-day delivery across editorial, commercial and digital functions.
At Barrow Mount, he is responsible for recruitment systems, process efficiency and internal delivery.

Ryan leads Barrow Mount and has worked in recruitment and publishing for over 20 years.
He began his career with Kelly Recruitment before roles with both Parkhouse Recruitment (part of Select Appointments) and REED, delivering hires in logistics, production and engineering and other specialist roles on both a temporary and permanent basis.
He later moved into B2B and consumer media and is Managing Director of Astor Media, publisher of titles including The Intermediary, Workplace Journal, Business Motoring and Motor Trade News amongst other brands.
At Barrow Mount, he focuses on commercial growth and long-term strategy.
